Special Features In Detail;
Ball Bearing Full Extension slides- drawers open all the way to the back! Plus, they hold a maximum of 100lbs.
45 Degree Angles- wherever and whenever possible we cut 45 degree angles. The result is a far finer and more quality appearance. We also use what is called a biscuit joint system in most joints which helps to create a tight, unbreakable seam.
Hand Crafted Handles and Drawer Pulls-unless you specify otherwise* we use our own hand crafted handles and pulls.
Mortise and Tenon Jointed Logs-this ensures optimum strength and stability to the furniture.
Environmentally Friendly Logs.
Everywhere, people are going "green", and we are delighted that all of our cottonwood and aspen logs are fallen dead wood from trees and branches. This means that there is less cutting of live trees for WCF! Our bed sare made with almost all fallen wood except for a few boards which your mattress rests on. Also, we collect most all the unique wildwood for our log furniture ourselves which cuts out extra gasoline and petroleum involved in
getting wood to a lumber yard.
We Use Essential Oils In Our Finish Coats.
It's true! We use essential oils to help neutralize toxic chemicals in the paint/clear coats for our furnishings. Chemicals in paints can release toxic fumes for weeks and even months after application, and they can have many negative effects on a person's health by degrading the air in the home. In addition to neutralizing these dangerous fumes, essential oils add a very mild yet uplifting aroma which makes the arrival of these unique pieces even more special.
